1. Who we are

DITLog is operated by Audio Creative Design Ltd trading as DITLog ("we", "us", "the Company"), based in England. For the purposes of data protection laws, Audio Creative Design Ltd is the Data Controller of your personal data.

2. What we collect

When you use DITLog, we collect:

  • Account details: name and email address
  • Content you create: projects, media records, device lists, and related notes you enter
  • Billing information: managed entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see, collect, or store your credit card details directly
  • Basic technical data: standard web server and application logs (IP addresses, browser details, access timestamps) used to keep the Service secure and functioning

3. How and why we use your data (legal bases)

We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract: to create your account, provide and maintain DITLog, and process billing through Stripe
  • Legitimate interests: to secure our infrastructure, monitor system health, deliver customer support, and inform you about critical service updates
  • Legal obligation: to retain tax and accounting records for payments made under UK law

We do not sell your personal data or trade it to third parties for marketing.

4. Third-party sub-processors & data storage

Your data is hosted and processed securely by trusted third-party providers acting as our sub-processors:

  • Supabase: database hosting and user authentication
  • Vercel: application hosting, global deployment, and server logs
  • Stripe: payment handling and subscription management

Where your data is transferred or stored outside the United Kingdom (e.g. in the US or EU), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or UK International Data Transfer Agreements) to protect your privacy to UK standards.

5. Data isolation & security

Your projects, media records, and account details are partitioned so that they are strictly accessible only by your authenticated account. Other DITLog users cannot access your data.

6. Your rights under UK law

If you are located in the UK or EU, you have statutory rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access & rectification: view and correct your personal details directly within your Account settings
  • Erasure (right to be forgotten): request full deletion of your account and related content
  • Restriction & objection: request that we restrict or stop processing your data under certain circumstances
  • Data portability: request a copy of the content you put into DITLog in a structured format
  • Complain to the ICO: you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully (though we'd appreciate the chance to fix any issues first)

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as DITLog grows. If we make material changes, we will give you at least 30 days' advance notice via email or an in-app notice before the changes take effect.
